The student can choose to learn any aspect of the RC car, from the motor to the transmission, to the suspension and electronics, anything both electric and gas vehicles.<p>     Classes can cover both the hardware of the vehicle and how the vehicle works, to the advanced knowledge of maintaining and running their vehicle. Tearing down engines, transmissions and shocks just to see how they work. Progressing on from there the student can learn to adjust the vehicle's suspension and motor to the student's liking with what kind of terrain he or she will be driving on.<p>     Instruction is provided to students for as long as the student wants to learn. Classes are held primarily at the JEL motors facility in Tempe, Arizona. Classes are also sometimes held at RC race track facilities for the purpose of education in driving and suspension.<p>     JEL motors in short provides the RC Enthusiast the knowledge of how to run and maintain their own RC vehicle to recieve the full enjoyment of RC in itself.<br><br>     A testimony from a recent student:</font><ul><i><font face="Arial,Helvetica" size="3">     "I was a total newbie to the nitro car hobby, I had bought a car and tried to follow the directions that the manufacturer had supplied, but just couldn't get it right. I had met James at my local hobby store, and he informed me the held classes in which he covered all aspects of r/c cars. After attending a JEL motors class I have to admit that it all seems alot easier, James gave me the information that most manufacturers don't like you to have. He covered alot of ground in the class, everything from break-in, tuning, glow plug & fuel selection, all the way to selecting and mounting tires.
